Hillary joined Acupuncture & Herbal Therapies after our exhaustive year-long national search. Hillary’s interest in Chinese Medicine started many years ago from her own personal successes with the medicine. Her training started with BS in Exercise Sports Science and Health Education with a had a full academic scholarship and then attended a rigorous master’s program at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in Gainesville, FL. This program trains graduates in advanced pulse diagnostic skills. During her training, she pursued a passion for treating infertility and women’s issues. As a Doctor of Oriental medicine, Hillary’s successes in treating many issues include menopausal symptoms, infertility, pregnancy related side effects, anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, weight loss, and chronic and acute pain.
In Gainesville, she taught beginner, prenatal and fertility yoga. Hillary ran her first marathon in 2006 and continues to enjoy running as well as many other sports. She is a big fan of the Gators and Red Sox and rarely misses watching a game. Hillary, like everyone at the clinic, has a deep love for learning and especially Chinese and Western herbalism.
