Belinda "Benna" Hunter was born and raised in Henderson, Kentucky. She graduated from Henderson County High School in 2001. Following high school she attended Henderson Community College where she received her Associates of Science and Associates of Art degrees. After graduating from HCC in 2004, she went on to University of Southern Indiana to finish her Bachelors of Science Degree, with an emphasis in Studio Art. All the while, her focus within these two areas of study remained on the human form.

In the fall of 2007, Benna moved to Florida with her fiance' and began focusing on her own personal health through chiropractic, acupuncture and massage. The relief she received from these forms of alternative health care led her to the decision to become a licensed massage therapist. She was married in June 2008 and graduated from the massage program at Sunstate Academy in Clearwater, Florida, in December 2008. In February 2009, she received her nationally certified massage license.

Due to her personal, life-long struggle with migraines she has become extremely passionate about helping others in pain or discomfort. In the fall of 2009 she received her Neuromuscular Massage Certification. She worked for a chiropractor right out of massage school and then began working at Acupuncture and Herbal Therapies in St. Petersburg, Florida in August 2011. She and her husband currently live in St. Petersburg, FL with their three Basenjis.
